Mike Corbett put forth the Idea of a Regional Coordinator for PEI, NS, and NB to PDGA Canada. instead of the Traditional Provincial one. He subsequently put forth my name as a candidate, as I was the PDGA rep for BC for a bunch of years. The PDGA jump at the chance to create a position in the Maritimes and put me in the positions for 2 years. we will have an election in 2016 for the position.
So Bla bla bla As part of their support of the East Coast, they have waved the PDGA fees for Tournament sanctioning for this year an have included our entire tour as C tier events. I encourage all of you who are not current members of the PDGA to join, as now our tournaments will count towards player rankings and statistics. Our tour will also be included in the next Issue of Disc Golfer Magazine. you do not need to be a member to play, but next year their will be a small fee for non members.
They have also agreed to a $750 grant for the construction of the new Sackville Disc Golf Course!
